Meg Sirchio Groves
I discovered yoga in 2004 and began a very regular, almost fanatical practice. It reshaped my body and eventually my entire life because it illuminated a worldview I already knew and understood at a deeper level. I started teaching yoga after just 4 years of practice and became the space holder of Perennial six months after that. I’m honored to extend the beauty and power of yoga to others, knowing firsthand how transformational and healing this practice is. I lead a flowing and reverential style of vinyasa yoga that is sprinkled with spiritual teachings. I believe anyone can practice in my class if they are willing to co-create their experience on their mat by listening to what their body, mind and heart is calling for and then answering that call. My hope is that you’ll leave my class grounded in your body, flowing to your natural rhythm, and inspired to live wholeheartedly. Along the way I promise you you'll find inspiration, Truth, possibility, some tears and a whole lot of laughter.
I hope to see you at Perennial. You can also connect with me on my Facebook Page - Third Eye to Third Eye.

MEDITATION - LOVING KINDNESS
Loving Kindness Meditation is aimed at breaking down barriers and restoring compassion and kindness towards others, including ourselves! Our Wednesday evening meditation is led by Perennial founder, Meg Sirchio Groves, and is designed to help you explore how love is at the core of your Being and how forgiveness, gratitude and generosity can and will flow from this space when we remember this Truth. Our 45 minutes together is spent meditating on what is breaking or weighing heavy on our heart, sharing this with the group, if you choose to do so, and then combining our hearts, minds and intentions in a loving-kindness meditation led by Meg. By reconnecting with the love that we are we can affect the energy that flows through us and from us so we're more equipped to navigate our relationships with other beings and all of creation. Come and experience the release and the power of joining with others and taking a deeper dive into our true nature, which is LOVE.
What is a Yoga Immersion at Perennial?
It is a yoga class taught by a more experienced teacher and longer in length. These two features; experience and length, afford the opportunity to incorporate more aspects of the art and science of yoga into the class. It is not a class only for advanced students, although some experience and familiarity is best. It is for the student who wants to explore and be immersed in a fuller practice that includes: chanting, pranayama (breathwork), dharma talk (yoga philosophy), mudras (energetic hand seals) chanting (the yoga of sound) meditation and nidra (yoga of sleep). The teacher will instruct asana (postures) in a krama fashion. This means that more difficult postures will be broken down into progressive stages so you can practice and develop at your own pace.
Yoga Immersion with Meg
Your heart is your destination in my classes. Your body is your doorway and my aim is to guide and remind you to take your breath with you so you go to a more embodied and emotional place as you make your journey back home to your heart. Breath and sahaja-like (spontaneous) movements that unleash, express and return me to my True Nature is the greatest gift I have found from my practice and that is my hope for you - a blissful return to your True Nature. We'll sway, flow, spiral and create in my classes but this will be juxtaposed with reverent pauses and "daring" postures, making your time on your mat a perfect metaphor for traversing life off your mat. I aim to make my classes equally attentive to your physical and subtle body and share yoga dharma and teachings from other wisdom traditions that have spoken deeply to me. You'll find the path we traverse smooth and playful at times, and rugged and intense other times. It's just like life. Please join me.

Winter Ayurveda Talk
How is it possible to maintain your health and well-being in a world that is constantly changing? The Ayurvedic practice of Dinacharya can help. In Sanskrit ‘Dina’ means ‘daily’ and ‘carya’ means ‘regimen.” It shows us how to adopt rhythmic practices that align with the cycles that exist in nature so our body and mind can experience greater stability. Meg will explore the upcoming Season of Winter and how we can establish healthy living through bodywork, diet, study, meditation, spiritual practice and personal routine in a way that brings balance and health given the opportunities and challenges this season brings to us.
