EARLY BIRD YOGA: REJUVENATING

This class is taught by:

Jamie Healy

Jamie took her first yoga class in Seattle in 2002 and has been practicing ever since. She has a deep respect for the ability of the human body to heal itself and has seen firsthand what a consistent yoga practice can do to calm the mind and deepen the connection to self and others. Jamie is a lover of all things natural. Often described as “organic,” she creates natural skin care products using essential oils. In 2014 Jamie received her 200 hour RYT certification after completing the Perennial Wisdom Yoga Teacher Training at Perennial Yoga & Meditation. Jamie’s classes will encourage you to trust your inner teacher and connect to your truest nature. Jamie is honored to witness the transformative power of yoga in her students and feels blessed to be a part of the Perennial community.

Amy Torrey

Life is so fragile and fleeting. Coming to my yoga mat helps me settle into the “now” and to come from a place of compassion for myself and for all the people in my life. A new opportunity presents itself every day - to create something new, to change an outlook, to see a new perspective. In 2015 I quit my 15-year career at the University, received my 200RYT…and finally found myself. My classes are heart-centered and often playful with lots of room to reflect and do your own practice. When you step into my class - I learn just as much from you, as you do from me.

I discovered yoga when I was pregnant with my son. It made me feel beautiful, worthy of self-care, and helped me slow down to enjoy the amazing life growing inside me. In 2017, I took my training to become a certified Prenatal Yoga Teacher, out of gratitude for all I had learned about myself in that precious time. Through love and vulnerability my hope is that I can help my students tap into that part of themselves that needs nurturing…in order to soften and find perspective.

I have two super special kiddos, a sweet, supportive husband…and lots of love in all directions of my life. I love tacos (who doesn’t??!), big belly laughter, good music, strong coffee and loads of juicy hugs. Let’s meet on the mat and we can be each others teachers!

Sarah Peters

Sarah is a true seeker. In 2005, she found her way to yoga seeking healing physically and emotionally. Yoga has been the catalyst to finding her connection within herself, freedom to quiet the chaos, and tune it to her intuition. Her passion for healing and her gift to hold space for others, drives her to show up on her mat. Following her compassionate and committed heart, she completed her 200 RYT certification in 2017 at Perennial Yoga with Meg Sirchio and Keith Borden. Sarah’s classes embody her knowledge of years of a committed yoga practice and is complimented by her experience as an Occupational Therapist and use of bodywork. She looks forward to holding a safe space to explore and seek together through breath, rhythm, embodiment, and presence.
